Larry Sabatino Memorial Park

Located at 145 Thorobred Lane, in the Center of our Village, the park is maintained by our Public Works Department, in collaboration with enthusiastic volunteers from across the Village, and the dedicated members of the Sleepy Hollow Service Club.

Looking for some family fun? Larry Sabatino Jr Memorial Park is where it’s at, thanks to the Service Club! Our community gatherings are packed with laughter, games, and good times.

In 2023, our Village Board of Trustee’s successfully designated funding to replace the playground in the park. Enjoy the upgraded play experience!

The July Independence Day festivities kick off with an exciting fun-run, followed by the Bill Ritchie Memorial Parade, the Car Show, and non-stop family entertainment throughout the afternoon. Cap off the day at dusk with the legendary Sleepy Hollow Fireworks display presented by the Service Club. It’s a day of fun and patriotism you won’t want to miss.

Halloween in the Hollow is another event held at Sabatino Park and proudly sponsored by our Service Club, with the assistance of our dedicated village staff and police department. During Halloween in the Hollow, children have the chance to showcase their costumes, parading by age group while collecting candy along the way. Plus, prizes are awarded for the best costumes, adding an extra dash of excitement to the evening. Other activities include pumpkin decorating, hayrides, a chili contest and of course, the bonfire. The Service Club offers refreshments while we wait for the appearance of the Headless Horseman, which include hot dogs, hot cocoa & cider, water, apple & pumpkin pie and all the chili from the Chili Contest. The full schedule and contest details can be found on the Service Club’s web page.
