The Finance Committee's duties consist of reviewing the budget, the annual audit, tax levy and other matters that may have a financial impact on the village. Appointments are made by the Village President with the advice and consent of the trustees. Qualifications include being a registered voter in the Village of Sleepy Hollow, with a strong interest in serving the Sleepy Hollow community. Priority will be given to residents who work in, or have backgrounds in finance and/or accounting. Members serve without compensation.
