The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) produces a community snapshot of the communities they service. The snapshots primarily feature data from the American Community Survey (ACS) five-year estimates, although other data sources include the U.S. Census Bureau, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), Illinois Department of Revenue (IDR), HERE Technologies, and CMAP itself.
CMAP publishes updated Community Data Snapshots annually to reflect the most recent data available. The latest version can always be found on the CMAP website at cmap.illinois.gov/data/community-snapshots. The data is also available in table format at the CMAP Data Hub.
