The Police & Public Safety Committee's duties consist of informing and advising the Police Department on public safety issues affecting the residents. Appointments are made by the Village President with the advice and consent of the trustees. Qualifications include being a registered voter in the Village of Sleepy Hollow, with a strong interest in serving the Sleepy Hollow community. Priority will be given to residents who work in or have backgrounds in public safety. Members serve without compensation.
